Our range of White Columbines. Among the best known, you will find Aquilegia caerulea 'Snow Queen', with its alabaster flowers, derived from the blue columbine of the Rocky Mountains. Or Aquilegia vulgaris 'Alba' and 'White Barlow', two lovely versions of the common columbine found in old gardens. There are white varieties with single or double flowers, and even a fragrant species called Aquilegia fragrans, with a beautiful off-white colour, very attractive. These easy-to-grow perennial plants, generous in flowers, are precious in the garden for their lightness and their tendency to self-seed freely in flower beds if the stems are not cut. They sometimes produce natural hybrids with unique shapes or colours.
