Organic Courgettes

The Organic Courgette - Cucurbita pepo - is, like the Squash, a vegetable-fruit from the Cucurbitaceae family. It is harvested while still young, when its skin is tender. In the vegetable garden, you will sow the seeds or plant the organic seedlings (obtained without pesticides or chemical fertilizers) in April-May and around St. John's Day for a summer and autumn harvest.
