Our Hemigraphis collection. With their textured leaves and metallic sheen, Hemigraphis are adorable small plants perfect for an urban jungle-style interior. The most well-known, Hemigraphis alternata, is a creeping plant featuring beautiful purple leaves with silvery highlights on top. Also discover Hemigraphis Snow White, with its small, finely dentate-edged leaves in a mix of soft green and silvery white, sometimes accented with pale pink. The unique and graphic Hemigraphis repanda stands out with its elongated, dentate leaves. More compact, Hemigraphis exotica is prized for its hardiness and deep green hue enhanced by purple tips.
Hemigraphis belong to the Acanthaceae family and are native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. Compact in size, these plants typically grow between 20 and 30 cm tall. They are characterized by their ornamental foliage and creeping or trailing habit. Their subtle flowering in white or pale violet further enhances their charm. They are ideal for tropical terrariums, hanging planters, wall planters, or table and shelf decorations. A bright bathroom will suit them particularly well.
Indoors, place them in a bright spot but away from direct sunlight. These plants thrive in humidity, but avoid letting water stagnate in the saucer. A well-draining soil enriched with organic matter will suit them perfectly. Maintain a mild temperature, between 18 and 24°C, to ensure they flourish.
