Our range of Ledebouria, charming small fleshy bulbous indoor plants. Ledebouria are small South African wonders known by the name of Ledebouria socialis, or violet scilla. This plant, which develops leaves speckled and marbled with silver, is very easy to grow indoors. Ledebouria revoluta and Ledebouria zebrina also offer very decorative foliage. With their fleshy leaves, often adorned with fascinating patterns, these robust plants have a charming, unique beauty. A good option to decorate your shelves!
Originating from South Africa, Ledebouria belong to the Asparagaceae family. These small bulbous plants tolerate dry periods well. With their compact habit (15 to 20 cm) and sculptural design, they are perfect in modern or minimalist interiors. Discreet floral stems add to their charm.
Easy to maintain and drought-tolerant, Ledebouria appreciate indirect light and well-drained soil, ideally a cactus mix. You can place them near an east or west-facing window, where they receive soft light at the beginning or end of the day. Water them moderately, allowing the soil to dry between waterings, and make sure to keep them in a temperate environment (18-24°C).
