Our 'Pierre de Ronsard' Roses. These are beautiful climbing roses that are repeat flowering, adorning arches, walls, or pergolas with a romantic flowering from late spring until autumn. The most famous is the large climber Pierre de Ronsard®, with its large, globular cup-shaped creamy pink flowers. Red Eden Rose® resembles it, in deep carmine red and more fragrant. Palais Royal® is an ivory version that brightens partially shaded facades. Mini Pierre de Ronsard® (Mini Eden), which does not exceed 1.20 m in height, is a gem for small gardens, terraces, or balconies.

These climbing roses appreciate a fertile, deep, and well-drained soil, sunny but not scorching exposures, or bright partial shade. An airy location will limit the appearance of powdery mildew and downy mildew. Plant in loosened and enriched soil, mulch in summer, prune lightly after each wave of flowers, and then rebalance the branches in late winter.
