Our parsley seeds offer an economical way to grow and harvest this essential aromatic and culinary herb. Persil Géant d’Italie or its organic version, Persil frisé Bravour or Persil frisé Vert Foncé allow you to vary the flavours, culinary uses and presentation of your dishes. Parsley, or Petroselinum crispum, is a popular and easy-to-grow biennial vegetable garden plant. Sow it in a herb bed or in a planter near the kitchen. This plant provides a regular harvest of tasty, vitamin-rich leaves in many gardens.

Persil Géant d’Italie is sought after for its large, flat, tender and highly fragrant leaves, which are widely used in cooking. Persil commun 2 is a reliable, productive and hardy variety, suited to everyday use in the vegetable garden. Persil frisé Alto stands out for its finely divided, dense and ornamental foliage, which is equally useful for seasoning and decorating dishes. Persil frisé Vert Foncé forms a compact, regular and well-filled clump. The Hamburg parsley or Hamburg parsley is grown both for its aromatic foliage and for its fleshy root, which is used as a vegetable.

Parsley seeds are sown in spring, in soil that has already warmed up slightly. As germination is often slow and irregular, especially in dry soil, sowing requires a little care. Soak the seeds before sowing, sow thinly in rows or in situ in fine soil kept moist until germination, then thin out the young plants to encourage foliage development.
