Our range of yellow to orange chrysanthemums. The yellow is very pure in these autumn perennials, like the solar pompoms of Chrysanthemum x indicum 'Citronella' or the golden daisies of 'Goldmarianne'. When yellow turns copper, caramel or orange on the chrysanthemum head, the splendour of autumn bursts forth in flower beds and containers. Chrysanthemum x indicum 'Herbstbrokat', with its dawn-like colours, is an ode to the late season. Symbols of remembrance, often associated with mourning, chrysanthemums, sometimes called autumn daisies, are one of the last plants to bring life to flower beds or terraces before winter.

Some cold-sensitive varieties, known as florist chrysanthemums, are most often grown as annuals in flowering pots. But others, hardy and robust, prove to be excellent bedding plants. They are easy-to-grow perennials in the garden. Chrysanthemums love the sun and rich, light soils, and they are more sensitive to excess water than to temporary droughts.
