Growing cloches and tunnels

What better way to hasten, force, or protect your crops than with horticultural cloches or forcing tunnels.

Transparent plastic cloches with ventilation holes act like mini greenhouses, retaining moisture and heat for optimal growing conditions. But they also protect your vegetables from inclement weather such as frost, heavy rains, or wind. These cloches also safeguard your annuals or young vegetables, recently transplanted or germinated, from attacks by slugs, birds, and other large pests. 

The forcing film for tunnels can be used for several years. Specifically designed for gardeners growing vegetables in general and tomatoes in particular, it allows for both an earlier start to cultivation and extended harvests. It is installed on hoops to create a large-scale forcing tunnel. The hoops and fasteners are also available at Promesse de Fleurs. Our forcing films are made of transparent low-density polyethylene and have excellent resistance to mechanical shock and good thermal performance. Thanks to this film, the heat accumulated during the day, especially at ground level, will be released to the seeds or plants during the night, which activates germination, growth, flowering, and fruit ripening.
