Our range of Weeping Birches. These graceful trees are characterized by their flexible branches that trail towards the ground, creating a curtain-like effect. The Betula pendula 'Youngii' is the most iconic, with its white bark and fine trailing branches. The Betula pendula 'Tristis' features an even more weeping habit and bark that turns white with age. The Betula nigra 'Summer Cascade' offers pinkish-brown exfoliating bark, adding interesting texture to the garden even in winter.
These birches are perfect for adding a poetic touch to medium-sized gardens or large gardens. They prefer fresh, light soil and sunny exposure. Make sure to water them regularly during the first years. They can be planted as standalone specimens, in groups, or along pathways.
