Our range of Viburnum plicatum or Chinese Viburnums. Large deciduous bushes with a tiered habit, they offer in spring a white flowering in corymbs, followed by berries and colourful autumn foliage. From 1.50 m to 3 m depending on the variety, they structure borders and informal hedges in partial shade, in cool, rich and well-drained soils.

The benchmark remains the Viburnum plicatum Mariesii, known for its horizontal branches and wide, flat inflorescences. Watanabe, more compact and floriferous from May into summer, is interesting for small gardens. With Kilimanjaro (regular pyramidal habit), you get very distinct "tiers" and beautiful autumn colouring. Popcorn is distinguished by its almost spherical flower heads, reminiscent of a snowball, on a dense-looking bush of 2–3 m. Also discover the Viburnum plicatum Pink Beauty: its pink buds open white, bringing a delicate nuance to partially shaded scenes.

The Chinese Viburnum is planted in gentle sun to partial shade, in neutral to slightly acidic soils, rich in humus, remaining cool in summer. Remove dead wood and lightly balance its growth just after flowering to preserve the tiered habit; avoid severe pruning.
