Our range of Ficus elastica, originating from the famous "rubber plant". Ficus elastica is a large indoor plant known for its thick, glossy leaves, ranging from dark green to variegated tones depending on the variety. Very resilient and easy to maintain, it adapts easily to various rooms in the home.
Ficus 'Robusta' is one of the most popular varieties. It bears wide, dark green leaves and has a compact habit. More original Ficus 'Tineke' is adorned with variegated leaves in cream, green and pink that bring beautiful brightness indoors. The 'Abidjan' cultivar, with its dark leaves with purple highlights, fits into an elegant and contemporary atmosphere.
Ficus elastica appreciates bright exposure without direct sun and moderate watering; it's advisable to let the substrate dry out a bit between waterings. It tolerates the dry air of heated interiors well, but appreciates light misting. To limit its growth, prune it regularly.
