Coated lawn seed

Coated lawn seeds are seeds surrounded by a thin coating that makes them easier to distribute and improves contact with the soil. They are chosen when creating a new lawn, to overseed a sparse lawn or repair areas worn by frequent use. More visible when sowing and easier to measure out, they encourage even germination, provided they are sown on well-prepared soil and the moisture needed for germination is maintained.

This selection includes mixtures suited to different uses. Premium Universal Lawn is suitable for family gardens where a robust carpet is required without complicated care. For a play area, a frequently used path or a particularly busy part of the garden, Premium Resistance Lawn combines perennial ryegrass, tall fescue and meadow grass in particular. Premium Lawn for Overseeding is better suited to a tired lawn with gaps or bare patches. In an ornamental garden, English Lawn - Coated Seeds produces a finer finish and should be reserved for areas subject to less foot traffic and mown regularly.
