Our Range of Shrubby Honeysuckles with Colourful Foliage. These evergreen bushes stand out with their golden, variegated or purple-tinged leaves, which decorate the garden all year round.
Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' is the most common, with its small golden leaves. It's ideal for creating low hedges. Lonicera nitida 'Lemon Beauty' features elegant green and creamy yellow variegated foliage. Lonicera nitida 'Red Tips' has surprisingly pink and purple young shoots, while the 'Garden Clouds Purple Storm' cultivar takes on beautiful purple hues. Also discover Lonicera crassifolia 'Little Honey', a creeping honeysuckle which forms a ground cover with rounded green-bronze foliage.
These shrubby honeysuckles adapt to most well-drained soils and tolerate both sun and partial shade. Annual pruning is enough to maintain their compact habit.
