Hollyhocks are large hardy perennial or annual plants from the mallow family. Ideal in cottage gardens or along a wall, hollyhocks bloom abundantly all summer. Their flowers can be single or double (Chater's series) and the colours range from white to yellow or from pink to purple. Plant your hollyhock in the sun in ordinary soil. Hollyhocks easily self-seed spontaneously.
