Variegated sedums, or variegated stonecrops, are succulent perennials with leaves edged in white, cream and sometimes pink. Low-growing and spreading, or forming upright clumps, they grow in sun in well-drained soil, even poor or stony soil. They enhance rockeries, dry gardens, low walls and containers.

Among them, Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' forms a dense cushion of green leaves broadly margined in cream to pink, and produces yellow flowers in summer. Sedum kamtschaticum 'Variegatum' has small light green leaves edged in cream, accompanied by yellow flowers with orange centres. Taller, 'Frosty Morn' forms a clump around 50 cm tall, with grey-green foliage edged in white, topped in late summer by broad pale pink flowerheads.
