To create your edible hedge, we have selected well-known fruit bushes such as raspberries, redcurrants, and other currants, as well as less common species in our gardens like the mayberry or the goji berry. These fruit hedges are both ornamental with their flowering and a source of discovery and enjoyment for young and old. Their fruits are also rich in vitamins and nutrients that can be enjoyed fresh, as well as preserved or made into jam to enjoy their benefits throughout the winter. An edible hedge preferably includes species and varieties with staggered fruiting, to stagger the harvests and vary the pleasures. The edible hedge is also a feast for birds, who will delight in the few fruits that you graciously leave them at the end of the season. Depending on the size and layout of your garden, edible hedges can be planted along the perimeter to mark the property boundary or within the garden itself to define spaces. Ideally, they should be planted in two rows and in a staggered pattern to save space lengthwise and achieve a beautiful natural appearance. Finally, note that all fruit trees, small fruits, and orchard trees can be planted as hedges: from small bushes 1 m (3ft) tall to 10 m (33ft) tall trees.

You'll adore them!
