In addition to the Old English Roses, Leander, Alba, and Moschata, David Austin offers a rather eclectic range of English bush roses, each with its own characteristics and charm. These roses are part of a fairly recent hybridization programme where a wide variety of parentage is experimented with. They are invariably perpetual and fragrant, highly resistant to diseases like 'Imogen', 'Hyde Hall', and 'Kew Gardens'. They often take the form of very large, naturally-shaped bushes, perfect for creating beautiful, free-flowing and impenetrable hedges.
