Over the last ten years, Promesse de fleurs has gradually become aware of the social and environmental issues involved in its business and has taken steps to improve its impact and practices. In 2022, we decided to take our approach one step further. We set ourselves targets to run our business in a responsible and sustainable manner, by enhancing how our practices impact on our employees, customers, suppliers, and the natural world. Based on a policy of continuous improvement and transparency, we decided to keep you informed of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach for 2022-2026, which we built around four commitments and action levers.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENTS

 

Since 2015, we have maintained a ‘Zero chemical treatment’ policy on the farm. Our aim is to increase the proportion of organic and local produce we use by developing our own production, particularly in the ornamental plants range. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and want to involve our staff, customers and suppliers in our forward journey.

We show respect to our suppliers, making long-term commitments to growers by entering into contractually binding reservations and cultivation commitments in order to guarantee our plant range and support the horticultural industry.
