Watermelon Seeds

Watermelon – Citrullus lanatus – from the Cucurbitaceae family, are grown in vegetable gardens for their cdense and refreshing fruit. With its high water content, watermelon symbolise summer. Sow them in divided trays or small pots in a warm, sheltered location from March onwards and transfer them into the ground as soon as it warms up. Watermelon requires extensive water and sunlight to produce large and beautiful fruit, which is purifying and hydrating and contains vitamins A, B, C, and mineral salts - calcium, magnesium, and iron.
