The Ammis are annual plants with summer flowering and very melliferous flowers. The foliage, similar to fennel, forms a tall and airy tuft. The flowers are large, white, and round umbels, particularly architecturally structured. The Ammi visnaga is particularly fragrant and also an excellent cut flower. The Ammis are very well adapted to summer drought. Plant Ammis in natural areas with dry soil.
