Amaranthus are annual plants used in flower beds. Amaranthus are highly decorative with their red, green, pendulous or erect flowering, depending on the variety. The Triple-colour variety with 20 cm (8in) long leaves combines bronze, gold, orange, and red, in large splashes that persist well into autumn. Magnificent in flower beds, pots, or as cut flowers. Grow them in sun in cool, rich soil.
