Daubenton perennial kale - Brassica oleracea var. ramosa - forms large, hardy, perennial bushes: this ancient vegetable is undoubtedly one of the easiest to grow, along with perpetual leek and Egyptian walking onion! The tender shoots can be consumed throughout the year as needed. The more you cut it, the more it regrows, making it a highly productive vegetable in the kitchen garden and earning it the nickname "thousand-headed cabbage". Close to wild species, it is also resistant to diseases! It is delicious and it can be cooked like Milan cabbage, stuffed, in soup, in a stew, in a gratin, in a salad or even stir-fried. This cabbage, previously intended for livestock feed, is now sought after by top chefs! Cultivate it in the sun in clayey and rich soil, provide regular organic feed, and it will reach dimensions of about 1m by 1m. It can live for 3 years or more in your garden.
