The Sisyrinchium bellum is a hardy perennial grass hardy down to -10° C  (50° F) from the family of Iridaceae or irises. The Sisyrinchium forms dense tufts with linear evergreen foliage, reaching about 20 cm (8 in) in height. Its flowering period is from June to August, in the form of star-shaped, blue and striated flowers, enhanced by yellow stamens. Plant your Sisyrinchium in a sunny location in well-drained soil to enhance rock gardens and non-submerged areas around ponds. Mulch during harsh winters.

You'll adore them!
