The Tomato is a commonly grown vegetable cultivated for its delicious and versatile fruits. The numerous varieties express their differences through their colours, shapes, or sizes. Whether they are rare, old, cocktail, cherry, medium, or large, all the seeds are sown from February, in a warm greenhouse, and the plants are transplanted into the ground in May after the last frost when the plants have 4 to 5 leaves. Its taste and nutritional qualities need no further introduction, and now its decorative value is also widely appreciated. Emblematic of summer, its cultivation requires sunlight, heat, and abundant watering.
