The Brussels Sprout – Brassica oleracea gemmifera – from the Brassicaceae family is an herbaceous vegetable plant cultivated for its axillary buds, also known as 'sprouts'. This type of cabbage, including the Rosny Brussels Sprout, offers excellent yields in a limited space as it grows vertically. It has a milder and sweeter flavour compared to other cabbages and pairs well with chestnuts. It can be enjoyed roasted, fried, boiled, or steamed and is often served with smoked bacon or other cured meats. When small, it cooks quickly and cools down just as fast,, to use in vinaigrette salads. It is rich in fibre, as well as vitamins B and C.

You'll adore them!
