Our white-flowered Avens or Geums. These include varieties such as Geum rivale 'Album', better known as White-flowered Avens, whose flowering ranges from pure white to cream-white or very pale yellow. The flowers of avens are single or double, cup-shaped or trailing bell-shaped depending on the species and cultivars. Flowering can occur in spring or summer, and can vary in duration depending on the cultivar. Hardy and carefree perennial plants, avens are easy to grow in the sun, in moist, well-drained, and fertile soil.
