With its shiny dark green foliage and its famous white spoon-shaped inflorescences, it brings a calm and refined touch to any interior.
Spathiphyllum wallisii is a must-have, but other varieties such as the elegant 'Tanni', the majestic 'Sensation', or the compact 'Sweet Chico' deserve just as much attention. Each variety has its own personality: from the giant leaves of 'Sensation' to the delicate habit of 'Domino' with its slightly variegated leaves.
Spathiphyllum belong to the Araceae family and are native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. These bushy plants range from 30 cm to 1 m in height depending on the species. Their decorative flowering can last several months even in low light and is one of their great attractions.
Spathiphyllum are as easy to care for as they are elegant. They thrive in soft light or partial shade, without direct sunlight, adapting well to less bright rooms. Water them moderately: the soil should remain slightly moist without being waterlogged, as excess water can lead to root rot. These plants prefer a temperature between 18 and 25°C and well-draining soil, rich in organic matter.
