Pelleted vegetable seeds are seeds surrounded by a thin mineral coating that increases their volume, making them easier to handle, distribute and sow. They are used for sowing in rows, pots or alveolate trays, in the vegetable garden or under cover, and reduce the need for thinning. Their main advantage is more precise placement, which is particularly useful for small seeds and very fine seed.

This selection includes everyday vegetables such as Carotte Nantes 2 Topfix, Carotte Presto F1, Laitue pommée Appia and Poireau Bleu d’hiver Farinto.

You will find useful guidance in our guide "Sowing seeds: everything you need to know, our tips and tricks". In a fine-textured growing medium, with consistent moisture and a light touch when sowing, pelleted seeds produce more regular rows and better-spaced young plants in a vegetable bed.
