The China Aster or Callistephus is an annual plant from the Asteraceae family. The China Aster is easy to cultivate and brings colour to flower beds. The numerous cultivars present all shades of pink, blue, white, and purple. The dentate leaves are alternate and have a deep green colour. Cultivate the China Aster in the sun, in a well-drained and moist soil, even if it is limestone.
