The Inkharo series Rhododendrons tolerate clay and slightly chalky soil quite well, unlike the usual varieties that grow in acid soil. This allows them to be grown more widely, in open ground or in pots. In fact, they are traditional varieties such as Dufthecke, Bloombux, Brasilia, and Bernstein, grafted onto a naturally lime-tolerant wild rhododendron. The bushes obtained by this method tolerate a wide range of soils with a pH ranging from 4.5 to 7.5, provided they are loose, fertile, moist, and not excessively chalky. Inkharo Rhododendrons love soils that are suitable for hydrangeas, with which they form beautiful compositions.
