Dill seeds

Dill, False Fennel, False Anise or Stinking Fennel is an annual herbaceous plant cultivated in the herb garden or vegetable garden for the aniseed fragrance of its airy leaves and seeds. Easier to grow than fennel, to which it bears a resemblance, it imparts its flavour to fish dishes with its leaves and to pickles with its seeds. Dill can be sown directly in the ground or in a pot in spring and harvested throughout the summer. Resistant to drought, like Compact Dill, it requires little care: light but regular watering prevents premature seed production. Dill is known for its digestive properties.
