Superb flower, takes a while to establish, not fragile at all. Loves the rain this year, it's giving me 5 beautiful tillers in bloom.

Description

Superb perennials known for being difficult to grow. We have acclimated them in the edge of the wood, in a rather heavy clay soil where we have added some gravel for drainage. It is essential to avoid exposing the foliage to strong wind or direct sunlight. A calm, humid, and cool atmosphere is favorable for them. Our plants come from division and therefore have a robust stump since they come from open ground.

Beautiful hemispherical clump. The stems starting from the ground carry at their ends very beautiful leaves resembling those of hydrangea, entire or divided in two at their ends. The strange flowers are a beautiful violet-blue. They are borne in small terminal clusters by thin stalks above the foliage.
