Description

(Syn. E. p. 'Purpurea') Small hemispherical shrub, darker in appearance than the species. The foliage in spring takes on a purple hue and the flowers, chartreuse yellow in the type, have orange highlights in this variety. Good for a scree garden, slopes or rockeries. In our garden, this euphorbia has never been as bright as when in the shade of a large birch tree in the rockery.
