Description

One of the lovely varieties in this genus, fabulous for cool and moist regions. It self-seeds here and there in the damp and rich clay-loam soil. Suitable for any rich, damp to moist soil. The small flowers of intense blue, similar to those of forget-me-nots, form a light cloud above the emerging foliage. Pruning the withered stems promotes the growth of new and much larger leaves that remain decorative for a long time.

This variety has beautiful golden foliage in spring.
