Description

Echinacea purpurea 'Catharina' is a perennial plant that blooms from July to September. It produces large double pompom flowers with downward-facing petals. These flowers are bright pink with a green centre.

This purple Echinacea can reach a height of 80cm (32in). It makes a very good cut flower that lasts a long time in bouquets. It is very hardy and has deciduous foliage.

It can be found in flower beds, in perennial borders, but also in containers with companion grasses.

'Catharina' is also a pollinator plant that attracts birds and butterflies. It is used in homeopathy. It is a perennial plant that takes some time to establish.
