Leucocoryne or "Glory-of-the-Sun" are hardy perennial bulbous plants for a Mediterranean climate. Each bulb produces linear leaves that give off a garlic scent. Flowering is in June, in the form of flared, funnel-shaped, large and fragrant blooms. Plant your Leucocorynes 10 cm (4 in) deep in full sun in rich, sandy and well-drained soil. In pots, plant the bulbs in a mix of potting compost and sand.
