Our Weigelias, classified by flower colour to better guide you in your choice. Weigelia is a deciduous bush that is easy to grow and its abundant flowering adorns the garden with vibrant colours from late spring. The clusters of bell-shaped flowers of Weigelia florida and its numerous varieties are white, with various tints of pink or red. The flowering of Weigelia middendorffiana, a botanical species much rarer in cultivation, is yellow. Weigelias grow in any loose soil, including limestone, but not too dry, in sun or partial shade. Adult size is reached in 5/6 years. With varying appearances, more or less large, these bushes can be used as individual plants, in hedges, in flowerbeds, but also in pots for dwarf varieties.
