The 'Lemon Fizz' Rose bush, with its large sunny flowers, creates lively flower borders and potted plants that are highly visited by pollinating insects from June to October. It produces numerous clusters of semi-double roses, which are relatively large for a polyantha rose, and their yellow colour remains vibrant. Its beautiful glossy foliage perfectly enhances its generous flowering. This floriferous and carefree rose bush is perfect for a natural garden: its exceptional disease desistance has earned it the highly demanding German ADR label. It can be planted anywhere: in borders, flower beds, small hedges, on terraces or balconies.

The flowers of the 'Lemon Fizz' Rose bush, gathered in small terminal clusters of 4 to 6 flowers, come from the polyantha rose, an old hybrid derived from Rosa multiflora and Rosa chinensis. It belongs to the "Nectar Garden" series, which includes varieties particularly rich in nectar and pollen, and also ADR* certified for their natural resistance to rose diseases. Well-branched, it has a spreading dome-shaped habit, wider than it is tall. It will not exceed 60 cm (24in) in height with an 80 cm (32in) spread. The slightly double cup-shaped flowers, measuring 7 to 8 cm (3in) in diameter, consist of 5 to 7 undulate petals. They open with a very warm and bright yellow colour, revealing a centre filled with golden-yellow stamens. Flowering begins in May-June and continues until October. It may slow down if the soil becomes too dry in summer, but will resume in September. Pretty red fruits follow the flowers in autumn. This vigorous variety develops a fairly dark, glossy, deciduous foliage that falls in autumn. Its stems bear thorns. 'Lemon Fizz' tolerates heat particularly well.

The robust 'Lemon Fizz' rose bush adapts to all soils that are not too dry, but prefers fertile and deep soils. Its dense and low habit works wonders in rock gardens or on slopes where it will cover the ground. It can also be planted in groups of 3 plants, arranged in a triangle, or as a standalone feature in a short grass meadow. Plant it en masse along pathways or to highlight shrub borders. It integrates perfectly into beds of light or opulent perennials and pairs well with other dwarf roses such as 'Bordure Blanche' or 'Bordure vive', depending on each gardener's taste. For example, it can be associated with perennial geraniums (Geranium 'Blue Cloud', 'Anne Folkard', 'Nimbus', 'Orion', 'Rozanne'), bellflowers (lactiflora, rapunculoides), catmints, snapdragons, foxgloves, or other carnations. It is naturally perfect for decorating the terrace or balcony, planted in a beautiful pot, a large planter, or a flower box.
