In the pot, there weren't even any leaves protruding at the surface, so I don't even know if there was anything inside. Very disappointed.

Description

Dicentra King of Hearts is a beautiful small perennial Bleeding Heart, with exquisite pearl grey foliage topped with soft pinkish-purple flowers.

This miniature Bleeding Heart blooms from May to June and forms carpets of soft pink flowers with purplish highlights accompanied by very finely cut, bluish-grey foliage.

A ground cover plant for partial shade, Dicentra King of Hearts thrives in light, moist, neutral to acidic soil.

It enjoys woodland settings and easily grows under deciduous trees, provided that the soil is moist in spring. In our partially shaded border, we have mixed this dicentra with heucheras, tiarellas, carexes, and tulips. Most Bleeding Hearts go dormant at the end of spring withoutany detri ment to the plant.
