Description

Perennials with slowly spreading rhizomes. Easy to grow in a non-calcareous, semi-shaded, moist to wet soil. A useful plant among other perennials such as Asian primroses, Epimedium..

It forms very hardy clumps, forming dense and spreading cushions. This plant has beautiful evergreen foliage in winter, with shallow lobes and toothed edges, similar to that of Aconitum. It blooms with delicate spikes of small white-greenish flowers in racemes.
