Planting and care
This bulb returns each year, becoming more vigorous and forming generous clumps. Planted at a depth of 10 cm (4 in), spaced 15 cm (6 in) apart, they thrive in moist and cool soil where they multiply abundantly. Their flowering extends from late April to June.

- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
