Camassia or Quamash, are perennial flowering bulbs that bloom in late spring (May and June) and are wonderfully beautiful with their tall stems of star-shaped, single or double, white or blue flowers. The first to bloom is Camassia leichtlinii Caerulea, followed by the white Camassia leichtlinii and then C. cusickii and finally the double white C. semiplena. They originate from the prairies of North America.  Easy to grow, they thrive in moist to wet soil in shade or partial shade and provide a unique solution for beautiful and tall flowers in shady areas. Camassias multiply slowly but over time form dense and highly blooming clumps.

You'll adore them!
