The Spring Bulbs from A to Z: they come in over 1000 varieties, including tulips, daffodils or jonquils, hyacinths, grape hyacinths, anemones and fritillaries, snowdrops and other crocuses. Planted in autumn, they bloom mostly between mid-March and early May. Some, like Eranthis and botanical crocuses, already adorn the garden in late winter, announcing the return of spring, much to our delight, while others bridge the gap with summer blooms, like late tulips, ornamental garlic or Eremurus. The lilies (liliums), on the other hand, beautifully conclude the spring bulb season.
