Plants for slopes allow you to cover an incline, retain soil and dress a site that is often dry, stony or difficult to access. They must occupy the space without requiring too much care and maintain a beautiful presence for a large part of the year. This large section brings together perennial groundcovers, carpeting shrubs, landscape roses and even creeping conifers, capable of greening a slope in sun or shade.

Among the plants well-suited to this purpose are Phlox subulata ‘Emerald Cushion Blue which forms a very bright flowering carpet in spring on drained slopes and walls. Hypericum calycinum covers the ground quickly and is very accommodating, even in difficult sites. The groundcover rose ‘The Fairy’ brings abundant flowering on a spreading and trailing branch structure full of charm on a slope. Evergreen in winter, Juniperus horizontalis ‘Wiltonii’ spreads its blue-grey carpet on dry slopes, in rockeries and in poor soils.

This category allows you to find in one place plants from very similar worlds, such as shrubs for slopes, roses for slopes or creeping conifers. It helps you choose according to the exposure, the nature of the soil, and the desired effect in the garden.
