Planting and care

Originating from the Himalayas and mountains of China, these perennials have in common a prostrate habit, creeping stems with small leaves that disappear entirely in winter (stems and leaves), stunning large bell-shaped flowers that are more or less open, an immoderate love for humus-bearing, non-chalky, peaty, but well-drained soils. For a trough exposed to the north or between the rocks of a partially shaded rockery, where mosses reign. They are beautiful plants to brighten up autumn days.
