Planting and care

The Casino® rose should be planted in full sun, in a deep, fertile, humus-bearing and well-drained soil. It tolerates a slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soil. The planting of roses with bare roots takes place from November to March, outside frost periods, while container-grown young plants can be planted from autumn to spring. In pots, choose a container at least 40 cm deep, with drainage holes and filled with a rich growing medium. Regular watering at the base is necessary during the first two years, during dry spells and for specimens grown in containers. Do not water the foliage to avoid the appearance of black spot. A specialist rose fertiliser can be applied in spring, then after the first flowering.

Rose bushes are often spotted, or unsightly at the end of summer, but this is not a problem for their development. These spots are not dangerous for the rose bush; it is a natural phenomenon. Follow all our advice to remedy this and read our article: Help: I have spots on my rose bushes
