Description

This Eupatorium thrives in a rather damp and humid climate and heavy, clay soil, even with limestone. Moreover, they bloom well after returning from holidays. Why don't we see them more often in gardens? Because garden centres only sell what blooms in spring!

A vigorous stump emitting large green stems slightly speckled with brown, forming a large bush over 2 metres (7 feet) high and wide with lanceolate and narrow leaves, finely toothed and dark green. Large flat inflorescences appear at the top of the stems, composed of hundreds of small purple-pink flowers. A plant with very large growth, very hardy and with a great effect near a pond or a lake, in marshy soil. Spontaneous sowings.
