The self-fertile kiwis, such as Actinidia deliciosa 'Solo' and Actinidia arguta 'Issai', produce fruits without the presence of a male pollinating plant. 'Solo' produces medium-sized, sweet and juicy fruits. 'Issai' is suitable for small spaces and produces small kiwis with smooth skin, resistant to cold and with a pleasant taste. Among other self-fertile varieties, Actinidia deliciosa 'Jenny' is remarkable for its large, sweet fruits with velvety brown skin. 'Solissimo' offers white, fragrant flowers that turn orange when blooming and then brown, hairy kiwis in November. Among the Siberian kiwis, 'Vitikiwi', the grape minikiwi, offers small fruits with smooth skin and delicious flesh, perfect for eating. As for 'Kokuwa', it stands out for its large fruits with flesh that has a particularly sweet and lemony flavour.
