Organic farming
This healing product for pruning wounds is a fluid paste that forms a protective physical barrier against water and all pathogens that could enter the tree through the wound (fungi, bacteria, viruses, insects...). Packaged in a 300g tube with an integrated applicator brush, this treatment is practical and easy to use. Suitable for Organic Agriculture.

Solabiol pruning wound sealant, in a flexible 300g tube, is a ready-to-use paste with particularly easy application thanks to an integrated brush applicator. This treatment forms a protective physical barrier that prevents water and all pathogens from entering the tree through the wound. It can be used in the ornamental garden, applied directly to cleaned areas immediately after pruning, in winter, and can be used down to -10°C.

It is sometimes necessary to prune ornamental trees to limit their growth or to help them maintain a beautiful shape. They can also be accidentally injured by strong winds or lightning, leaving gaping wounds which are entry points for bacteria, fungi, viruses and pathogenic insects. However, not all trees and shrubs have the same healing and resilience capacities after pruning. In the case of deliberate pruning, it is advisable to follow the specific calendar for each species to limit harmful consequences.

Solabiol pruning wound sealant is approved for use in Organic Agriculture, in the ornamental garden. It is a dark, waterproof paste with a fluid texture composed of a mixture of resins and vegetable oils. It facilitates wound healing, and it is effective, through a "barrier" effect, for several weeks depending on the applied thickness, the quality of the surface and the quantity applied. It is recommended to apply it to a perfectly clean and dry trunk, and to carefully scrape out and clean wounds before applying this treatment.
