Planting and care

The plants we offer are more suitable for moist but porous terrains. Heavy and compact clay soils can be suitable, provided that their structure is improved by mixing gravel with the soil to a depth of about 40cm (16in). If you take care to cut the flower stalks after flowering, the plant will produce new rosette leaves at ground level, covering the soil well until the first frost.
